It was about a year ago… I was excited on buying an HD video cam. I did my research, saw a gazillion sample videos and for the budget I decided to go with a Vixia HG21. There is a learning curve as everything in life but this one was an unexpected big one. Vixia HG21 can be noisy as hell! (I bet hell is not as noisy) By that time I called it “snow” and it was very depressing. I kept on filming but never got into the satisfying zone. I bought an Rebel T1i and an iPhone. Both made better videos off the bat so I decided I was going to give my Vixia another try before selling it. Did my research but there’s nothing compared to vimeo as video research center. Vimeo is full of tech/film freaks! I searched for Vixia HG21 low light and there it was! The information I was waiting for! FINALLY! I’m very happy and there’s going to be a lot of new videos! I give Vixia HG21 a 9 out of 10!(For the price) Here is a video testing it out and practicing Final Cut Pro.
I believe I haven’t posted anything new for a while now (Little bit over a month to be exact)! I wanna share something with you guys! Something I really like! My wife told me a couple of months ago: “OMGGGG Air is coming to NYC!!!”. Well it was in Spanish, “Que Chimba viene Air!” I was like, Air what?!!?!? So as always she sent me couple of songs and I passed them to my iPhone. Since then I haven’t been able to stop listening to Air! In a week I knew their most recent album! Love 2 and some of the Moon Safari album.
So as always I recorded some videos!! YAY!! The concert was great and then we went to a Trilogy party! It was definitely a good Night!! I <3 NYC

In this one the guy singing is using a vocoder! It’s a voice effect that merges your voice with any instrument! Pretty Cool.
Tropical Disease
This one is one of my favorite! I couldn’t record this one because I needed it to enjoy it @ a 100% full blast power! The guy in the left is using a moog! OMG I want one!! I bet there’s a gremlin making the sound inside the piano getting pinched with each notes he plays!!
It was nice just to think there’s another party in my house! It’s was my roommates birthday!! Eli’s birthday! Yep good until the day before the party! I got Sick!?!?!?! NOOOO why??? Why do I have to get sick the day before the party? I will get sick after the party that make sense but NOOOOOO, it had to happen. Well I got a couple of aspirins, acetaminophen you name it! It did work @ least for the preparation. When the party was at it’s peek I had such great conversations and met nice people!! It was fun but I had to shutdown again so I went to sleep (Which is really rare if I’m partying).
Thing is I stupidly drank like 2 whiskey and a wine so it cancelled the pills effect, I was shivering hard. During the process all the good footage didn’t got recorded, my concentration was in a 67% land mine. Yeah well I thought I hit the record button but nope it didn’t happened. In order to have a little more content rather than just the beginning of the party I’ll put some song I made a really long time ago, so make sure to have that in mind.
