Tell Congress not to censor the internet NOW! - fightforthefuture.org/pipa PROTECT-IP is a bill that has been introduced in the Senate and the House and is moving quickly through Congress. It gives the government and corporations the ability to censor the net, in the name of protecting "creativity". The law would let the government or corporations censor entire sites-- they just have to convince a judge that the site is "dedicated to copyright infringement." The government has already wrongly shut down sites without any recourse to the site owner. Under this bill, sharing a video with anything copyrighted in it, or what sites like Youtube and Twitter do, would be considered illegal behavior according to this bill. According to the Congressional Budget Office, this bill would cost us $47 million tax dollars a year — that's for a fix that won't work, disrupts the internet, stifles innovation, shuts out diverse voices, and censors the internet. This bill is bad for creativity and does not protect your rights.

With one of our favorite nights just around the corner, Blkmarket Membership & ReSolute team up to bring you the annual haunted ritual, Get Spooky. On Saturday 29th October be ready for the sinister lineup filled with evil lords, demons, witches, and devils…..we bring you Mathias Kaden, Margaret Dygas, Rhadoo, Elon vs. Connie and Taimur & Fahad.

Mathias Kaden’s love for house music shows in what he does. He is part of the Freude Am Tanzen label family along with artists such as Daniel Stefanik, Monkey Maffia, Douglas Greed and more. Following the House music of the 90′s, he works thoroughly to create new sound structures. His sets can be seen as freaky, dashing, dub, funky, slamming, enriched by African and South American percussions. Behind the decks, Mathias is both distinctly ambitious and refreshing. He is an artist that clearly lives for his profession.

Margaret Dygas is one of the Panorama Bar residents and she has already made her way onto being part of the Perlon family of artists. Her discovery for house music began right here in New York in the early nineties when she moved to study fashion at the renowned Fashion Institute of Technology. Before long her college friends had introduced her to the whirlwind underground club scene; the flamboyant gay clubs where vogueing was all the rage, dressed up club kids, intimate basement techno nights, jungle gatherings and scores of insane house parties. We had to invite Margaret back to where it all started for her and Halloween night was the perfect match for her return.

Rhadoo is part of the RPR Soundsystem trio along side fellow Romanians Petre Inspirescu and Raresh, all of who have been taken under Ricardo Villalobos’s wing for the past few years now. He run’s A:rpia:r label with the RPR boys and has been one of the leading figures and DJ’s who has made Bucharest in Romania one of the major clubbing destinations of the world. A favorite of ours, we are excited to have Rhadoo on our lineup.

ReSolute residents Elon and Connie go head to head for a special tag team set and Blkmarket Membership residents Taimur & Fahad complete the lineup.
